India is a country of immense diversity with a population exceeding 1.4 billion. Like any developing country, India faces various challenges. Serving people in India requires sensitivity to its rich cultural heritage, linguistic variety, and varied socio-economic realities. Whether in the context of social services, hospitality, or skill development, the key is to approach marginalized communities with respect, adaptability, and inclusivity. Therefore, when serving people across India, we acknowledge regional differences (local customs, traditions and habits) and engage communities with respect and dignity.
Our hearts go out to the suffering of underprivileged children and elderly widows in India. About 30 million orphaned children in our overpopulated nation suffer neglect from their local communities. Eleven million children live on the streets and are simply ignored by thousands of passersby. Every year, poverty, innocence, physical inability, and illiteracy force 500,000 female children between the ages of five and 10 into the sex trade. Saving them all is impossible, but together we can change some of their destinies.
We are currently helping people in need in India, especially children and widows, with various compassion services, including scholarships, stipends, educational resources, food supply, and drinking water and so on. With adaptability and empathy, we navigate the complexities of India and make a significant difference in the lives of its people. Serving Homeless People
We do not ignore the poorest of poor in our society. On a regular basis, we distribute blankets, food, and other essentials to the street dwellers and homeless people, who are ignored by their neighboring communities. We go with a truck load of clothes and food supplies to highways and byways to find them and help them with whatever we can so that they could feel they are not forgotten.

To gorify God in Word and Deed by becoming hands and feet of Jesus to those that need a helping hand in India.
Our vision is to help educate 5,000 children, support 5,000 widows and develop 25,000 community leaders in the next 20 years!
Our Story
Redeem India was founded on August 23, 2011 by Dr. & Mrs. Manohar and Jasmine James. Over the past 16 years, they brought friends and well-wishers together to be part of the noble work to transform underserved communities and improve impoverished lives. So far, Redeem India has made in roads into 11 states of India where it had served 1000s of poor, vulnerable and marginalized families and individuals.
Redeem India has five strategic programs: Karunaseva (Compassion), Shikshanugraha (Edication) Samudaya Seva (Community Development), Raksha Yojna (Relief program), and Arogya Vikas (Health Initiative), through which thousands of families across India have been benefited. Considering the need i India, our work is just a drop in the bucket. Therefore, we would like to pass the spirit of humanity and charity into others through friendships and meaningful relationships. Our work is a team effort and credit goes to every donor, volunteer and staff member!
To run our ministry, we depend on donors like you to come alongside us to give a helping hand so we can serve our society better. Our goal is not only to serve others, but also to pass our passion and compassion to others, especially to the recipients so that the charity is replicated and perpetuated. Our teams of dedicated volunteers together with generous donors are able to accomplish what God has called us to do.
